Conclusion

Editors Choice Award

Our Editor's Choice for September 2010 is:

Sky Digital
Current Offer: Free Sky+HD Box with Free standard set up + £50 M&S Voucher
www.packages.sky.com

The obvious conclusion from the current intense competition in the UK digital TV market is that the consumer is the real winner. We think Sky currently offers the best deal for digital TV, with its great-value premium packages (see our like-for-like 'premium package' comparison above), excellent technology and the best coverage across the UK (including rural areas). If you then add in its new high-definition TV product, plus the free broadband offer, it is difficult to look beyond Sky.

NTL also has a very attractive proposition for customers, with some great value packages combining telephone, broadband and television. The merger with Telewest should bring some exciting new changes to their service, including the addition of TV-on-demand (the ability to record, pause and rewind live television) and we recommend you consider them strongly when making your decision.
